Hi! I'm Meredith!
I'm a photographer because I believe photos ARE powerful communicators of the best things in life.
I'm also a wife of over 15 years to Danny, mom to five amazing kids, and enthusiast of many things in this wonderful life (exercise, education, sports, humor, travel... I could go on). I'm a former Spanish teacher turned stay-at-home mom turned teach-at-home mom, and have always had an entrepreneurial streak. My first job was my own lawn care business at age 13!
My journey
Obviously photography has little to do with mowing grass, but I like to think that the hardworking entrepreneurial spirit that helped me push a lawnmower as a teenager is still alive and well. My heart for photography began at summer camp with a whole bag full of Kodak disposables, grew in my high school photography course where we shot and developed our own film, took a break during college and my teaching years, and was reborn with the birth of our kids. I knew I NEEDED to capture these fleeting years the best way I could. Friends saw I had a "real" camera, started asking if I'd "take a quick photo" and the rest is history.

I'm passionate about documenting people, capturing your story with honesty, and helping you see and remember the beauty of this season of your life. I give my all to understand and connect with you before, during, and after your session, so that together we can create the most beautiful and timeless images possible.
We'll get the posed "looking and smiling" image for your Christmas card, but Perhaps more importantly,
I'm looking for the in-between moments that document the joy and connection that's unique to you and your people. The result is a gallery full of images that you can look back on and think,
"Yes. That's me. That's us."
